This is one of two designs provided in response to the design brief, ‘make the garden accessible for all the family including a power wheelchair user’.

This option uses a series of carefully calculated ramps to provide access to lower garden.

The design includes space for a morning cup of tea on the upper terrace, with a main entertaining terrace in the lower garden.

There is space for a barbeque, outdoor sofa, and dining area, with a ramp leading down to the garden office.

The lawn area is sculpted to minimise the need for retaining walls whilst providing accessible space for all the family.

The 3D design software I use makes this sort of complicated design relatively easy for me to produce and much easier for clients to visualise than 2D plan images!
